Since the fall of Adam and Eve, God’s people have been on the move. We see it throughout the Old Testament from Noah to Abraham, to Joseph to Moses. But these people didn’t move alone. They traveled with their families, their workers, their livestock and possessions. Along the journey, these people grew from a clan, to a caravan, to the “congregation of Israel” (Exodus 12:3) to what eventually became known in the New Testament as, the church. Though the people of God have experienced setbacks, persecution, captivity, wanderings, rebellion and repentance, throughout this journey, God has still seen to it that His church moved forward. God expects no less from us today. He expects the present day church to continue moving forward. That is what this conference is all about. Listen, as Pastor Johnny Moore, in his own “hometown way”, takes us on a journey—a journey through five levels of development that every church must go through in order to reach their potential and impact their community.
